why the group?

Happiness to me was something I hadn't had a great deal of when I was married. I remember at refuge laughing and it caught me by surprised, the sound. It had been ages since I had laughed.  Since then, I want happiness and am greedy in pursuit of it.  Anything to make life better, fuller, easier. So my group is all about happiness cups and how to keep them filled.

I've always been in kitchen, and I find food so easy to prepare I enjoyed catering my own wedding. The food was excellent, the wedding of course was not (see blog!) In fact, and this wasn't the intention but the wedding, after presents, a sensible well thought out menu and clever decisions meant that we had made a small profit. 

Anyway! I didn't know I was particularly gifted with food till my friends always wanted me to bring dinner when we met. .. and write down exactly how I made something.   So, I thought I'd share some little shortcuts and excellent recipes. They are also, very budget friendly and quick. 

When I left refuge, I had very little money. I was building up my life all over again needing baking trays to mops and I was absolutely blinkered on creating a home, on a very tiny budget for my children and me. We'd had a house, but not a place of warmth, relaxation, a heaven.  I wanted to share how much can be done on a small amount, so these little nuggets of gold on on there too.

Books are my joy, my break time buddy and constant companion. (I do have a very nice selection of real friends FYI) Having some solid book reviews, so when we finally get some time to relax we are prepared and ready with solid book was important!
